On Sunday March 4, 2018, I said my final good bye to my brother-in law. Ed was much more than a brother-in-law to me. He was my very best buddy as well and I will miss him dearly.
Ed was a very hard worker from the time I first met him some 39 years ago. His work week was always 6 days long and a lot of times it went on for 7 days. But he always had time for family which was very important to him. He worked hard, but played hard too. I enjoyed my fishing trips to Cabo, jaunts to Portland to pick up new tow trucks, to Vegas to pick up a special piece of workout equipment and our trip to Texas to find me a 55 Chevy.
Ed left me with many good memories that I cherish very much .
Rest in Peace best buddy .

Dear Brother,
How do I put into words what you mean to me? My heart is so heavy with sadness and disbelief. I am not ready to let go, to say good-bye. You have always been there for me gowning up and in adulthood, not just as a brother but also a father figure of sorts. My mind is filled with wonderful memories; memories of you coming to pick us up at school when you were home on leave, memories of you always asking mom how we were doing in your letters to her while you were at sea, and of course the teasing we would get from you about hanging us upside-down over the toilet if we didn’t behave. You and Bonnie were there to help celebrate my 40th birthday in Vegas, and many other important occasions. The family reunions and sibling trips to Hawaii, etc., will forever be cherished memories. I thank you and Bonnie for the effort you put into keeping us together as a family after mom’s passing. I am going to miss your laugh, your smile, and your great hugs that ALWAYS let me know, I was loved. I hope you always knew how much you were loved in return. Rest in Peace, Ruth

Bonnie and Family
When I heard the news of Ed's passing we were heart broke. One thing I thought of during the sadness of it all was, maybe Kenny and Ed can play cards and reminisce over good old times and there were many I am sure! You were all so blessed to have had Ed. He was a great guy for sure. Loved his family. I want to give you some advice I was given right after Kenny passed and that is to take it a day at a time, and sometimes you might have to go an hour at a time and that is ok. The big misses you will expect, it is the small things that will surprise you and take the breath out of you. But eventually you will go thru a day and think you know I did ok, sometimes you have to go back to that hour and get thru it. But talk about Ed alot..keeps him closer!!! We are just so very very sorry and just wish there was anything to take the pain you all feel away. God bless and keep you all and while we can't be there in body, we are there in prayers and spirit..Again so sorry Bonnie, Tina, Michael, Eddie and families!!!!
