Ed was an avid golfer and a member of the Seascape Golf Club. An accomplished waterman, he was a dive master, and skilled boater; living life to its fullest both in and on the water. Love of animals, reading and photography were also his passions, and he will fondly be remembered for his youthful personality and unwillingness to act his age. Ed's many friends are saddened by this loss. Ed had a unique way of knowing when to show up and give you a lift. His regular visits were the highlight of the day. He leaves his loving wife of 38 years, Christine Mincher of La Selva Beach and his son Quin Mincher of Soquel, along with many close family members, nieces and nephews and beloved extended family. The mass will be celebrated on Thursday April 18, 2013 at Resurrection Catholic Church (7600 Soquel Drive) in Aptos, beginning at 10 a.m. Burial and military honors will commence at the church's cemetery immediately following the mass.
