Obituary of Linda Braun

Friends will gather on Saturday November 17, in Santa Cruz to celebrate the life of Linda Braun who passed away at Stanford Hospital on October 28, 2012. Born in Hayward, CA. Linda was 61 years old. She died with her loving daughters at her bedside only six short weeks to the day of her cancer diagnosis. Linda has been a resident of the Santa Cruz area for the past 40 years. She earned her dental hygienist certification at Cabrillo College, and later became a real estate agent and property manager with a career that spanned over 30 years. She has been an inspiration with her strength and courage to her family, and many friends all over California including her co-workers at Keller Williams Real Estate Office in Santa Cruz, and Hanson and Hanson Properties in Castro Valley. Her family will forever remember her love for long walks on the beach with her dog "Minnie", and her passion for her favorite things in life consisting of gardening, traveling, socializing with loved ones, and staying active. She will be missed and always loved by her daughters, Hillary Braun and Anna Marie Braun, as well as her neighbor and mother Winifred Hanson and by her father Raymond Hanson. Linda also is loved and remembered by her two sisters, Eileen Butcher and Carol Macfarland.
