Obituary of Barbara L. Ford

A memorial celebration will be in Redding, CA, on Friday, February 10, for Barbara Ford who passed away on January 8, in Capitola, California. Born in Santa Cruz on December 8, 1931 to Elvin and Hazel Carroll, she was 80 years old. She attended Gault Elementary School, Branciforte School, and Santa Cruz High School. Bobbee, as she was affectionately known, had a wonderful life with her husband Phil. They loved to spend time fishing, entertaining, and traveling together. She worked for Wells Fargo Bank from 1951 to 1988 and ended her career there as Vice President of Loan Review and Examination. After retirement, Bobbee and Phil made their home by the beautiful Sacramento River in Anderson, CA She is survived by her two cousins, Frank Carroll of Santa Cruz and Joanne Arneal of Manhattan Beach, California, and a host of extended family members and many devoted friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Phillip Darrow Ford in 2002 and her parents Elvin and Hazel Carroll. The memorial for Bobbee in Redding will be held Friday, February 10 at 2pm. The location will be the Elks Club, 250 Elk Drive, Redding, CA 96003
