Obituary of Faith Joy Wilbur

FAITH JOY WILBUR Faith Joy Wilbur passed away peacefully in the arms of her loving parents on September 27, 2011 at Lucille Packard Children's Hospital. She was born on September 25, 2011 at 8:43 a.m. at Sutter Maternity and Surgical Center, Santa Cruz, CA. Faith is survived by her parents, Travis and Heather Wilbur of Soquel, CA; her paternal grandparents, Robert and Susan Wilbur; her maternal grandparents, Don and Joyce Carroll; paternal great-grandmother, Helen Wilbur; maternal great-grandmother, Eunice Lauder, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins -who all miss her terribly. Faith gave a lifetime of love during her short stay on earth. She touched many lives and was loved deeply by family and friends. She experienced holding hands with her mommy and daddy, hugs and kisses from her family, and listened as her loving parents sang her songs. She heard the words "I love you" an immeasurable amount of times. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 15th, 11 am at Santa Cruz Bible Church, 440 Frederick Street, Santa Cruz, CA 95062. We invite anyone who has been touched by Faith to attend. In lieu of flowers, we would prefer donations and/or letters made on behalf of Faith to her loving and courageous caregivers at either Sutter Maternity and Surgical Center, or Lucile Packard Children's Hospital.
