Obituary of Jacqueline Von Schell

Jacki Von Schell A private family gathering will be held in Santa Cruz for Jacki Von Schell who passed away unexpectedly at her Santa Cruz home on February 7, 2011 at the age of 69. Born in Watsonville, California, Jacki graduated from Watsonville High School. While attending school there, she met her husband to be, Eric Von Schell. Jacki was a very talented florist, in addition she enjoyed creating unique crafts that she sold along side her floral designs at her shop Jacki's Flowers. Her career in the floral industry spanned over 40 years after. She opened the first Jacki's shop on Winkle Avenue in Santa Cruz in the late 1970's. She loved the outdoors, enjoyed camping and often went on hunting trips with her husband and sons. They will forever cherish the fond memories of the family trips to the Sierra's She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Eric Von Schell of Santa Cruz and her two sons, Eric Von Schell of Sunnyvale, and Randy Von Schell of Sacramento. She also leaves 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. The family will have a private service and host an open house for family and friend's at there Santa Cruz home on Saturday, February 12th 2011.
