Obituary of David Bryan Dodrill

David Bryan Dodrill Services are pending for David Dodrill who passed away on June 22, 2011 in Felton, following a brief battle with throat cancer. He was 45 years old. Born in Scotts Valley, he attended Vine Hill Elementary School, Scotts Valley Intermediate, Soquel High (9, 10) and Baymonte Christian (11, 12). As a youth, he participated in Scotts Valley Little League and Scotts Valley Pop Warner Football. He lived in Big Redwood Park, Los Gatos, Ca. form 1965 to 1973, Scotts Valley from 1973 to 1991, and moved to Rose Acres in Felton in 2003, where he leaves many dear friends. He worked for a time with Seagate in 1983 as a line worker, and enjoyed bicycling and working on bikes. Mr. Dodrill attended Scotts Valley Baptist from 1969 to 1983. He is survived by his mother, Edith Slanina, , his brothers, Eugene Dodrill, Bob Woodward, and Gary Dodrill, His sister in-law, Linda Dodrill, and nephews, Jason and Nathan Dodrill he was preceded in death by his father, Jennings Dodrill. A private cremation is under the direction of Benito and Azzaro Pacific Gardens Chapel.
