Obituary of Ron Scott Caponigro

Ronnie a 7th generation Santa Cruzan was born April 27, 1970, to Don and Georgann Caponigro. Ronnie was a 1989 graduate of Harbor High, and worked at Vitex, Santa Cruz Sentinel, and the Register Pajaronian , as a pressman for 20 years. Ronnie loved the ocean and surfing, his favorite spot was Getchell's . It was a good day if he could surf. He enjoyed vacationing in Hawaii, Mexico, Lake Tahoe and Reno Hot August Nights. Ronnie is survived by his parents Don and Georgann, brother Ryan and nephew Cameron, who was very special to him. Ronnie was a kind hearted person and will be truly missed by all his family and friends. A special thank you to Dr. Michael Wu and staff, he considered them as his second family. Services for Ronnie will be March 22, 2012 at Holy Cross Cemetery, 2271 7TH Ave. Santa Cruz, beginning at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Santa Cruz County, 940 Disc Dr. Scotts Valley, CA 95066.
