Obituary of Gerald Anthony Campero

Gerald A. Campero, 56, passed away peacefully Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013 in Santa Cruz. He was born July 10, 1956. Gerald was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousins and godfather. After graduating from high school in 1974, Gerald served in the U.S. Army (for 2 years). His passion was riding his motorcycle with his wife and friends. He liked listening and singing to his favorite oldies music. Gerald was also a loyal fan of the San Francisco 49'ers. He was a true friend always lending a helping hand to all in need. He adored his nieces, nephews, grandchild and godchildren. Gerald is survived by his loving wife, Frances Campero; his sons, Germaine, Eric, Gary and Isaac; his sisters, Mary (Stuart) Duckworth and Elizabeth Valdez. He was preceded in death by his parents, Patricia (Pat) and tony Campero. A memorial service will be held at St. Patricks Church, 721 Main St., Watsonville, CA on Friday, April 5, 2013 at 1:00 pm.
