Obituary of Carlos Scott Perez

Carlos Scott Perez "Scott" Services will be held on Monday December 12th in Santa Cruz for Scott Perez who died at his Payson, Utah home on December 3, 2011. Scott was born in Santa Cruz, California, he was 33 years old. He moved to Utah in 2008. Prior to that, he was a lifelong resident of Santa Cruz and Davenport. He worked for Comcast in Scotts Valley for many years before moving to Utah with his family. He was a loving father, husband, brother and son. Scott had a large heart, always willing to help friends and family in need. He always had a smile on his face and truly enjoyed life. He attended Pacific Elementary, Mission Hill Junior High and Santa Cruz High School. He had many dear friends and extended family in Santa Cruz, Oroville, Yuba and Utah. His family will forever cherish the many memories of his love for fishing, bowling and teaching his son to play soccer. He was the life of a party, joking, laughing and of course pulling a prank here and there. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and friends. His children & wife were his life and always brought a smile to his face. He was preceded in death by his dad Filo Perez. He is survived by his wife, Jana Perez, their two children, Sadie & Jordan, and miracle child due in July. He is also survived by, his mother Deanna Garcia and her husband Ageo Garcia, his father Carlos Silveira, his brother Joseph Perez and his wife Alex Perez, his brother Sean Garcia, his sisters Dana Perez & Brittany Garcia, his grandparents Dennis & Norma Hartley and Maria & Joe Terra, his uncle Brian Hartley, his aunt Jennifer Cordoza and her husband Bill Cordoza & their two kids Lucas & Katie, the Perez family of Davenport, and the Silveira-Terra family of Santa Cruz. A celebration of his life will be held at Benito and Azzaro Pacific Gardens Chapel (1050 Cayuga Street) in Santa Cruz beginning at 2 p.m. on Monday, December 12, 2011.
