Obituary of Norma M Allen

Norma remained in the Santa Cruz area for most of her life settling in Soquel. She married John Allen and together they had one son, Jeffery Scott Allen. She and her family lived in Lake Almanor, CA for over twenty-five years. They owned and operated the Lassen View Resort until she retired. There Norma started and ran the annual Lake Almanor Art Show. Norma was a very talented artist in oils and water colors. She displayed her work at the Lake Almanor Hospital and other business establishments. Norma had hobbies and interests including snowmobiling, cross country skiing, fishing and tennis. She was an avid traveler, enjoyed reading and an occasional hand of cards. Norma will be missed by all her family and many friends including: her son Jeff Allen; her sister and brother-in-law Jeanne and Milt Macken; her nieces Valerie Macken (John Christensen), Shelly Collins (Whiff), Kristen Macken, and Diana Watt (Bill); 12 great nieces and nephews; and her dear friend Lorraine Holt. She is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Mary Tabacchini and her husband John Allen. No services are planned at this time. Memorials can be made in Norma's name to the Joseph Tabacchini Endowment Fund of Omega Nu, P.O. Box 1696, Santa Cruz, CA 95061.
