Ezekiel attended Tucson Waldorf Elementary School, Khalsa Montessori Middle School, and City High School. His teachers and fellow students loved him. He was a beautiful person who cared about others, and had a great sense of humor. Growing up he was able to travel around America including Hawaii, and abroad to Mexico, Costa Rica, Trinidad, England, France, Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands. He later spent time living in Flagstaff, AZ, Laramie, WY, Eugene, OR, and Reno, NV. While living in Reno where Ezekiel found an apartment for himself, he found work through a temporary employment agency. He also located a place where he was going to get the last four credits needed to earn his high school diploma. He had expressed a desire to attend college. Ezekiel had a membership at Anytime Fitness where he liked to work out with weights and exercise. It was leaving this gym on December 26, 2011 at 5:30pm when, while properly crossing the street in a crosswalk, Ezekiel was accidentally struck by a vehicle and killed. Ezekiel succeeded in rising above lifelong challenges to become a young man taking care of himself. His life serves as a very powerful example of strength and courage for all to benefit from. Funeral services will be held on January 3rd at Benito & Azzaro Pacific Gardens Chapel in Santa Cruz, CA and he will be laid to rest at Soquel Cemetery.
