Obituary of Gary Kent Mohler

G. Kent Mohler Kent Mohler passed away on December 25, 2011 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Palo Alto. He was 63. Kent was born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma the son of Jack and Lee Mohler. He grew up in Santa Cruz and was a graduate of Santa Cruz High School. Kent served in the U.S. Navy during the Viet Nam War. He was the co-owner of Mohler and Sons Vacumes in Soquel. Kent was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and rode his motorcycle across the U.S. numerous times. He is survived by his wife of 9 years, Judy Mohler; his brother, Kevin Mohler; his sister, Kimberlee Kidd; and his niece and nephew, Kolleen Kidd and Danny Mohler. He is also survived by several aunts and uncles and was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be held at Benito & Azzaro Pacific Gardens Chapel, 1050 Cayuga St., Santa Cruz on January 4, 2012 at 2:00 pm. A private interment will be in San Joaquin National Cemetery.
