Obituary of Antoinette Theresa Jackson

Jackson, Antoinette (Toni) Theresa October 9, 1925 – July 6, 2014 Age 88, Toni Jackson passed away in Santa Cruz, California on July 6th, 2014. She is survived by her daughter, Judith Jackson, of Santa Cruz, CA, her brother, Jim Stoernell (Rita), her grandson, Sean, and many loving cousins and extended family. She was the sister of the late Virginia Berardini and the late Mary Weber. Toni was born to Margaret and James Stoernell October 9, 1925 in Pittsburgh. She lived most of her life on Mount Washington, where she and her husband Joseph Jackson (formerly Dziekonski) owned and operated a variety store and beauty shop there for many years, and later a sandwich shop in the West End. The couple retired to Ocala, Florida in the late 1980's. Mr. Jackson preceded Toni in death in 1990. A Mass for Toni will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Mount Church at a future date, and her ashes will be scattered in Pittsburgh by her family.
