Obituary of Christine Duncan

A private burial will take place in San Jose for Chris Duncan who passed away peacefully at her Santa Cruz home on October 11, 2013 at the age of 70. Born in San Jose, Chris worked as a nurse's aide for many convalescent homes in both San Jose and Santa Cruz. Her career in health care spanned over 20 years and she leave many dear friends and co-workers who remember her dedication and concern for her patient's and those suffering. She also enjoyed working with N.A.M.I. and the many friends she made there. She had an amazing talent for crafts, embroidery, and crocheting, and was a voracious reader; particularly with mystery novels. Chris is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Lynn and Jerry Houser and her brother-in-law, Bill Norris, all of Santa Cruz. She also leaves her nieces, Amy Dair and Jennifer Jones, her nephew, Nathan Norris, two great nieces and her beloved cat "Cutie Pie'. She was preceded in death by her sister Nancy Titus Norris. She will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at Oak Hill Cemetery in San Jose, beside her parents Leslie and Agnes Titus, who preceded her in death.
