I will never forget my friend, Gloria. I met her years ago at Carol and Jim's when the gave a part for Linnea and Mark. We met again at Linnea's 50th birthda party and sat together. She was so funny, interesting and caring. I was going through a bad time. After that I always got a note, card, joke or something in the mail to cheer me up. I would do the same for her. When she moved to Watsonville I tried to keep it up but I ended up being in the hospital over 7 months with complications from a knee replacement so she never heard from me again. I was going to start writing little notes again and finding funny cartoons or jokes so I could make several and she could send them out like she loved to do. Now I hope she sees some up in Heaven when I see them here. She was a class act and I always loved it when she talked about "her girls" - her friends she knew from school days and plaed golf with and had luncheons with. There's my 'always special friend,' Gloria, up in t he left corner looking and me and telling me she's ok, she's with her husband now. She was a class act and I truly loved her - Love you, Gloria - from Claudine XO and just so long - some day we will see each other again.

My name is Sally Dalpino Miller and Gloria Barraco was my 2nd Cousin and also my Godmother. What a lovely lady Gloria was. When I was little I could not say Gloria so I would call her Goria. She always got a big kick out of that. I still have a ring that Gloria gave me when I was very small. What a great gift to have to remember my cousin and Godmother. May she rest with God. After that party, I always got a note, card, joke or something in the mail to cheer me up. I would do the same for her and call her sometimes and laugh and talk. I would tease her when she moved to Freedom - usually on my envelope I would write "Let Freedom Ring." What a perfect name of a town for her. When she moved to Watsonville I tried to keep it up but I ended up being in the hospital over 7 months with complications from a knee replacement so she never heard from me again. I love Aunt Gloria and I am sad that she has left us, but she will now be with Laddie and her two brothers Al and Ray. Our thoughts and prayers are with Jim, Ed and Cari and their families.
