Obituary of Beverly Canepa Ewald

In loving memory of Beverly Ewald who passed away on May 8, 2014. Beverly was born in Santa Cruz in 1931 to Dante and Anita Canepa. She was the youngest of twelve children. Beverly grew up in Santa Cruz where she met and married Vernon Ewald in 1952. Together they had three sons. They later lived in Lake Tahoe, CA, Carson City, NV and Bullhead City, AZ. Beverly was a devoted Grandmother and Great Grandmother who treasured her family. She is survived by her beloved husband Vernon Ewald, son Michael Ewald and his wife Judy, son Robert Ewald and his wife Misty, son Mark Ewald, Granddaughter Melissa Jaramillo and her husband Steve, Grandson Tom Ewald and his wife Caitlin, Great Granddaughters Fayte Jaramillo, Eden Jaramillo, and Teagan Ewald. She is also survived by her brother Aldo Canepa, her sister Marie Marietti and her husband Lido, and brother in law Robert Thoma. A reception to celebrate her life will be held on Sunday May 18, 2014 at 1:00 at Benito & Azzaro Pacific Gardens Chapel, 1050 Cayuga St., Santa Cruz, CA. Following the reception at 4:00, family and friends are invited to board Stagnaro Charter Boats where Beverly's ashes will be scattered at sea.
