Arnold is survived by his wife, Mae, married 62 years; his daughter Carolyn Hedges, his son Paul Measeles (Nancy). He also leaves his grandsons, Brett Hedges and Jonah Measeles.

Arnold served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict, inducted in 1951, and stationed in Japan.
