Obituary of Betty Ann Foss

Our witty Aunt Betty (Betty Ann Foss) left us July 21st, 2014 after struggling with the after-effects of a stroke. She rallied enough to celebrate her 84th birthday in June. We will miss her vast knowledge of anything current as she enjoyed reading the newspapers thoroughly (without glasses) and cutting out various articles that might be of interest to her family. Aunt Betty was the original "foodie" long before the term was coined. She followed chefs, new restaurants and suggested where to eat – all from her favorite chair. She also loved to shop, visit with friends and watch the Food Channel. Her husband, Bob, preceded her in death in 1979. She will be missed by her sister Kate Braga, her niece Donna Fey (Mike), nephews Danny Braga (Jill) and Russell Zajicek as well as many grandnieces and grandnephews. Services will be Saturday July 26th at 3:00pm at Pacific Gardens Chapel in Santa Cruz with a viewing from 1:00pm – 3:00pm.
