Obituary of Lynn Marie Miller

Friends and family will gather in Capitola on Sept. 20, 2014, to bid a fond farewell to our beloved Lynn, who passed away at Dominican Hospital early this past Sunday morning at age 55. A graduate of Soquel High School, Lynn opened her heart and her home to care for animals that needed rescue, especially cats and dogs. Cherished memories of Lynn will be shared as we remember her artistic talent creating beautiful jewelry which she enjoyed wearing, and the bouquet of her perfumes that were her signature style. Lynn is survived by her husband, Terrence Miller of Santa Cruz, her children: Kimberly Hernandez of Florida, Shanon Martinez (Fid Martinez), Christopher Sturgis of Washington, Robert Gregory, Bryan Gregory, David Gregory of Paradise CA, and Cameron Marker of Florida. She also leaves her parents, Don and June Summers and her maternal grandmother, Josephine Manriquez of Santa Cruz; her sister, Elizabeth Summers of Scotts Valley and her brothers; Mike Summers of Santa Cruz and Don (Ester) Huse of Newman, CA; 9 grandchildren, 6 nieces, 2 nephews, her Godmother/Aunt Barbara and Uncle Steve Rowe and a host of loving aunts, uncles, and extended family members. Lynn was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Mike Manriquez and her pretrial grandmother, Vera Summers.
