Ann Wikel Hausman

 

June 9, 1923 – November 5, 2017

 

Services will be held in Trenton on November 14th, for Ann Hausman who passed away in Santa Cruz, California following a lengthy illness. Born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, she was 94 years old.

 

Mrs. Hausman earned her Bachelor's Degree at Hood College and began working in the accounting department in the Stock Market Industry. She was a long-time resident of Cleveland, Ohio where she raised her family. In 1963 and her family moved back to her native Pennsylvania, and worked for more than 20 years with the Allegheny County Assessor's Office in Pittsburgh. Her husband, Robert Hausman preceded her in death in 1969. Mrs. Hausman moved to California from Pittsburgh in 2013 to be near her family there.

 

Mrs. Hausman was a devoted member of Berkeley Hills Lutheran Church in Pittsburg, and dedicated much of her time to worthy charitable organizations. She was a cherished member of National Association of Women Business Owners, and worked as volunteer librarian.

 

She is survived by her two sons and daughters' in-law; Richard and Michele Hausman of Soquel, California, and Robert and Emiku Hausman of Bridgewater, New Jersey. She also leaves four grandchildren, and many lifelong friends in her church family.

 

The funeral service will be on Tuesday November 14th at Brenna Funeral Home 1799 Klockner Road, in Hamilton New Jersey. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday morning, prior to the ceremony. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery 1800 Hamilton Ave. in Hamilton, where she will be laid to rest beside her husband Robert Hausman Sr.
