Obituary of Jeanne M. Pollock

Jeanne Marie Pollock, 84, of Boulder Creek, California, passed away on November 24th, 2017 at her home in Boulder Creek.

 

A private burial was held at Holy Cross Cemetery on November 29th.  

The memorial service for Jeanne Pollock will be held on Saturday December 16th at Henry Cowell State Park at 9am. Family and friends are invited to share their memories of Jeanne and share in a “camp style” breakfast. Enter the park from Highway 9; turn right after the kiosk to picnic area #1. Dress casually for rain or shine. 

 

 

 

Jeanne was born in Los Angeles to George and Doris Mayer on August 13, 1933. She married Gerald Francis Pollock in 1956 and then moved to Santa Cruz county. After raising her family, Jeanne completed nursing school and enjoyed a career as an Registered Nurse at the Boulder Creek Medical Clinic.

 

Jeanne is survived by her children: Katie Dahlen of Boulder Creek, Ann Fisher of Truckee, and Patricia Pollock of Durango CO. She also leaves her 8 grandchildren: Luke Dahlen, Adam Dahlen, Tessa Amos, Drew Fisher, Hugo Rabier, Tanya Pollock, Alexander Pollock and Orea Pollock; as well as a number of great grandchildren.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Pollock, son Charles Pollock and daughter Mary Pollock.

 

Jeanne loved to spend time walking in the redwoods at Henry Cowell State Park. Memorial donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Mountain Parks Foundation at mountainparks.org or 525 North Big Trees Park Road, Felton, CA 95018.
