Obituary of Marisa Anne Wilson

Marisa Anne Wilson Willett passed away, October 22, 2014 at home in Santa Cruz surrounded by her loving family. Marisa was raised in Lafayette, CA. She attended Springhill Elementary, Stanley Middle School, Acalanes High School and later, Diablo Valley College and DeVry University. During her life, she also lived in San Diego. Since 2013, Marisa was a resident of Boise, Idaho, enjoying the beautiful landscape and kind people in Boise. It is there she met her husband, Cameron Willett. Marisa recently moved to Santa Cruz to be with her mother and to be in her love and care. Marisa is remembered by all as having a loving, generous and kind heart, sharing her beautiful voice and her vibrant love of life with many friends and family throughout her life. Marisa loved to cook and music was a true love. She enjoyed dancing and the ocean. Her shopping skills were also, unsurpassed. Most recently she discovered that she loved to play golf. Marisa liked to watch movies, discuss philosophy and was also intrigued by the Buddhist faith. The family thanks her many friends for their heartfelt comments and pictures shared on Facebook of their times together. Marisa is survived by her husband of 3 days, Cameron Willett; mother, Michelle Dellamar; sister, Tiffany Price; step-sister, Jaymi Dellamar; grandparents, Tim and Gisele Browne; 3 nephews; 3 aunts; and 3 uncles. She was preceded in death by her father in 2001, Richard Albert Wilson; her brother in 1992, Richard Sinclair Wilson; step-father in 2009, David Allan Dellamar and step-brother in 2013 , Lucas David Dellamar. A Celebration of Marisa's life will be held at a later date.
