Obituary of Clyde Searles

Clyde Searles was born in Everett, Washington to Celeste Bailey and Lucien Bailey. Clyde moved from Washington to Phoenix, Arizona as a small child, where he was raised. Mr. Searles enjoyed nature, gardening, landscaping, photography, making movies, music- especially The Beatles, and had a deep passion for sailing, and really enjoyed owning his own sail boats. Professionally Clyde worked in the electronics field for 30 years. His education which allowed for this long successful career began at DeVry University and Deanza College, where he earned numerous certificates in various computer subjects and electronic maintenance. Mr. Searles is preceded in death by his mother Celeste Bailey and father Lucien Bailey. Clyde is survived by his wife of 27 years, Jill Searles whom he lived with for all of these years in Boulder Creek, his son Justin Searles of Phoenix, Arizona, stepdaughter, Amy Fisher of Morgan Hill, stepson Brian McIntyre of Santa Cruz, his sister, Linda Faye Mills of Montana, and his stepbrother Dale Wood of Sacramento, as well as his grandchild Lily Searles, and his step grandchildren, Collin Tarvin and Kendall Tarvin. There will be a Memorial Service held on Saturday, December 7th, at Calvary Chapel Santa Cruz at 2:00 pm.
