Bryan Douglas Olsen Oct. 6, 1964 – Nov. 14, 2014 Resident of Ben Lomond Friends and family will gather in Felton on December 5th to celebrate the life of Bryan Olsen who passed away peacefully at his home following a lengthy battle with cancer. Bryan had recently celebrated his 50th birthday this past month. Born in Fremont, California, he moved to the San Lorenzo Valley with his family and has lived here for the past 46 years. Bryan graduated from San Lorenzo Valley High School and began a career in the automotive industry that spanned over 30 years. He worked for many years with Quality Automotive in Santa Cruz, and at the time of his passing was a service writer for Ernie's Service Center in Felton. Bryan's life in this world encompassed and accomplished many things in such a short time. An avid and talented mechanic, Bryan could repair, rebuild, and pilot most anything on wheels. He will forever be remembered as a thoughtful, sweet, engaging husband and friend, and consummate life of the party. Bryan was completely skilled in the construction trade, and perfected his Ben Lomond home for his family and friends who will cherish the many memorable occasions there. Bryan had a passion for his dog's "Lilly" and "Hailey" and they will miss him along with his co-workers, colleagues, and buddies that he enjoyed so much of life with. He is survived by his beloved wife, Teresa and step-daughter, Amanda. He also leaves his parents, Larry and Carolyn, and his brother and sister-in-law Brad and Shauna.
