Obituary of Bonnie Claire Brazier

Bonnie Claire Brazier December 22, 1950 - April 25, 2014 Resident of Scotts Valley A private family service was held for Bonnie Brazier who passed away peacefully at her Scotts Valley home on April 25, at the age of 63. Bonnie was born in Pasadena, California, and attended UC Riverside where she majored in Drama. She moved to the Santa Cruz area more than 38 years ago. She was an aficionado of musical theatre, and had possessed the ability to memorize and sing many show tunes from Rogers's and Hammerstein, Stephen Foster, and Andrew Lloyd Webber Bonnie worked as a paralegal and was specialized in the field of Family Law, and assisted in presenting defenses for insurance companies personal injury cases. She leaves many dear friends and colleagues in both the Santa Cruz County and Santa Clara County Courts who enjoyed working with in her 35 year career as a paralegal. Bonnie was an accomplished traveler, and visited such destinations as South Africa, The Caribbean, and Europe. Her greatest passion was for her animals. Over the years, Bonnie's Golden Retriever family would be the benefactor of her love and devotion. Her horses and other pets received wonderful care to be sure, but her Golden Retrievers were not companions as much as they were her four legged children. The weekly visits to the doggie spa and the warm water bathes they received at home were never compromised. Bonnie was preceded in death by her Golden Retriever Family of Toby, Tiger, Lacey, Tasha, Misha, Penny, and Kelley. A true football fan, Bonnie was no mere fair weather fan of the 49ers and Stanford, and many fond memories of tailgating at Candlestick Park will be forever cherished. Bonnie leaves behind her two Goldens, Jessie and Kayle, her brother, David J. Simmons of Centennial, Colorado, and her son, Scott Brazier of Santa Cruz.
