Obituary of Julio Ceasar Coto Sanchez

A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Friday in Santa Cruz for Julio Coto who passed away at Dominican Hospital on Tuesday, December 3, 2013. Born in Mexico City, he was 44 years old. Mr. Coto attended grade school in Mexico City until age 9 and moved to Santa Cruz. He graduated from Soquel High School, and earned his degree in Early Childhood Development from Cabrillo College. He was a loving father and outstanding youth soccer league coach, with many fun memories to be forever be cherished by his daughter's, brother's, and nephew's teams; all of whom he coached. He was a much loved pre-school teacher at Neighborhood Child Care Center on the West Side of Santa Cruz. Julio was lover of art and also a very talented artist of Mayan and Aztec Art and Culture. He was a music aficionado and quite skilled as a DJ too; but will always be remembered for the love and support he continually gave to his kids. He is survived by his mother and father, Juan Coto and Maria Coto Sanchez,His daughters Amanda Coto, (age 22) Claudia Coto, (25), Bianca Coto (23), Julia Coto (16); his sisters, Claudia Coto and Pilar Coto; brother, Manuel Coto, two granddaughters; Ava and Angelina Coto. Julio also leaves 4 nephews, 2 nieces, 11 aunts and 4 uncles, and his special canine companion, "Guero".
