Dan Miller

Obituary of Dan Miller

Dan passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday, October 3rd, 2013. He is preceded by his loving wife of 37 years, Toni. Dan is survived by his "A-Team:" his brother Tommy, nieces Sarah, Anna, Karissa, and Michelle, sister-in-laws, Jan and Cathy, and Susie "the best dog ever." Dan has many more family members and life long friends that were so important to him. Here are some wonderful things about Dan: he took care of the people he loved, he had big hands, big feet, and a big heart, he knew how to do things "right," he had a one of a kind sense of humor, he was an amazing storyteller, and he had profound connection with God. Dan talked a lot about forgiveness, love, and gratitude. Dan touched so many people's lives; he was a great friend to have. Here are a few great quotes from Dan, AKA Dr. Sweet. "This is not a dress rehearsal. This is it. You may never get everything squared away, so enjoy it while you can. You have so many blessings." "A place for everything and everything in its place." Friends and family will gather at the family residence from 10am to 8pm on Saturday October 19th. For further information call 831-431-6794. Any kind acts of charity can be made in Dan's memory to Hospice of Santa Cruz County (940 Disc Drive, Scotts Valley, CA. 95066)
