Obituary of "Imo" Lagua

Felicisimo “Imo” Lagua passed away peacefully at home on October 12, 2023. Felicisimo immigrated from the Philippines in 1986 and worked at Dominican Hospital until his retirement in 2013. After retirement he enjoyed his days fishing, gardening and occasional trips to the casino. 

He is survived by his wife Herminia, daughters Evelyn and Suzette, son Brixton and step son Darwin. Son-in-law Edgar and grandkids Alexandra, Erica, Fiona, Abigail and Ethan.  He is preceded in death by his daughter Fe, step daughter Charity and his faithful dog companion “Gizmo”.

A recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 6 P.M. on Friday October 27, at Benito and Azzaro Pacific Gardens Chapel. Friends may pay their respects at a viewing beginning at 3 P.M.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday October 28, 2023 at Holy Cross Church (126 High Street) in Santa Cruz beginning at 10 a.m. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery (2271 7th Ave.) in Santa Cruz.  A kind act of charity can be made in his memory to either the Alzheimer's Association or Parkinson's Foundation.
