Obituary of Margaret Louise Hillis

Obituary for Margaret L. (Peggy) Hillis Margaret L. (Peggy) Hillis passed away November 25th, 2023 in San Jose, CA. after battling multiple illnesses for several years. Peggy was born February 3, 1934, in San Jose, CA. She was the first born of George and Elsie Hillis and a second generation “Native Californian.” She attended Willow Glen Grammar School and graduated from Lincoln High School in the Class of 1951. Peggy was involved in many Class Reunions and had records and pictures of all her classmates and an uncanny memory for names and events. Peggy spent her professional life in accounting and retired from Old Republic Title Company after many years there. Above all, Peggy is remembered by all that knew her for her happy, positive attitude, love of animals-especially her fur babies, Molly & Bambi. She was willing to travel anywhere, be it Tanzania, Paris, London, Antarctica. Cruises were, late in life, favorite things she loved to do. Peggy was a joy to be with, made life-long friends and will be sorely missed by many. At Peggy’s request, there will be no Memorial Service.
