I met Debbie in 2000, working together in the podiatry office. I remember she loved holidays, and would honor each holiday with a different holiday-themed uniform. She always managed to make people feel comfortable and cared for, and her family was so important to her. I light a candle to honor the way she made other people feel- loved. My heartfelt condolences to her Family.

We were shocked and saddened to hear that Debbie had passed away so suddenly but were glad to know that she had her 'gramma' time with baby Jack and a lovely photo taken of the two of them. We have gotten to know Debbie through our mutual friend, Bobbie, and have enjoyed seeing her (and her family) over the years at holidays, especially at Halloween when we made candy houses together and the times she joined us at Lake Tahoe. She was a kind, gentle woman whose craft and scrapbook projects as well as her delicious cakes and other treats we enjoyed over the years. Our heart goes out to Fred, Jason, Danielle, and Anna, as well as Jack, who will miss such a loving family member. Please know that we share in your grief and we will hold you in our thoughts at this time.

I am so blessed to have known Debbie. She has meant the world to me. I am so heart broken over the loss of my sweet, sweet sister-in-law. She wasn't supposed to go so suddenly. We just joined the grandma club together. My grandaughter, Samantha, and her Grandson Jack. She was so excited, we were going to have a ball together as ususal. I am happy we were grandmas together for six weeks at least. She met her grandson. I am so happy she got to come to Hawaii w/us last year. We had a blast. We coulding buy enough flowers for our hair. She is so beautiful inside and outside. I could not have asked for a better friend and sister to share all of our our family events and holidays with. My partner. My buddy. We were always planning, and scheming the next holiday or birthday, or the next joint gift we'd prepare. She was always so full of such great ideas, and she made me feel like my ideas were great too! Such a good heart. We couldn't wait to see each other, each time. She was just so amazing, fun, creative, and full of life. Yes, her wheel chair and ailments did not stop her one bit. Always smiling. So couragious. She was also such an amazing Auntie to my children. I will forever be thankful for her being in mu life. I just can't let her go, but I know I have to for a little while. But I will keep the treasure of her memories close to me in my heart forever. She is a treasure of a person. There is no other like her. I love you Debbie and I wil miss you so much.

From my first visit with Debbie at physical therapy, she was an inspiration, and over the years, she gave so much more to me than I to her. I loved working with her early on to help her learn to use the crutches, and later to be there for helping her with her leg. Last month I told her I was going to Paris, and she brought me her photo album from her trip. I was inspired by what she saw and photographed, but, even more, I got to see pictures of her before! And... she showed me pictures of her treasured grandson!
Thank you, Debbie for coming into my life.

I feel very blessed to have known Debbie. She was a wonderful person and a pleasure to be around. Though we didn't see each other or talk often, each conversation was like an extension of the last - as though we had just spoken the day before. She will be missed by all of her Minnesota cousins. Our prayers are with you Freddie, Jason, and Danielle.

Fred, Jason, and Danielle: I am so sad to read this morning of Debbie's death last Sunday. I did not know that she was gravely ill. I saw her about three years ago in a chance meeting in Safeway and enjoyed catching up with family news and such. She never mentioned her battles with cancer. John and I send our heartfelt condolences. Your mother was a truly lovely woman. She always had time to listen and offer support and understanding in our mutual goals to be the best mothers possible. She was indeed the best mother a family could have. I shall keep her memory close. I am delighted to see that Jason is a father and that Debbie shared in that special joy. Our best to you all.

My heart goes out to Debbie's family during this time of loss. I will always remember Debbie as one of the most positive people I ever met. She always had a beautiful smile and sparkling eyes. We just saw each other a few weeks ago outside Safeway and spoke of planning a luncheon date with Bobbie. What a blessing that she was able to spend time with her new grandson. She will always remain in our hearts.
May her spirit rest in peace.
