My sincere condolence to the family of Dr. and Mrs. Dybdahl, especially the Dominican Hospital's pink lady Mrs. Dybdahl ,who always came into the kitchen area with a big smile on her face, patiently waiting for the special order meal tray near the counter area next to the entrance so she won't be blocking the exit...then gave a big "thank you" before taking the tray and hand deliver it to the patient who ordered it without the use of a cart to "carry" the tray down the long hospital hall way, to serve the patient who placed the special late tray order or whatever. Cannot never forget her gracious attitude, a great example of what a Godly faithful servant that she was. The Pink Lady volunteer at Dominican Santa Cruz Hospital where I worked from 1989 to year 2000. Did not know back then that she's related to one of the founding physicians of Santa Cruz Medical Clinic on Mission Street before it expanded and move to Soquel Ave-Capitola Rd. site. We had Dr. E. Long as our family doctor, Sept. 1971 till he retired from practice in the 1980s...1990s???
