Melinda served as the Webelo leader for the Aromas Cub Scout Pack 516. She was a valued member of the leadership team of the Pack, and will be sorely missed by us all.
This is a trustworthy saying: If we die with Him, we will also live with Him. If we endure hardship, we will reign with Him. ~2 Timothy 2:11-12

How we met :) Out of just 30 or so images, what are the odds this would be in there?

Melinda was a dear friend to me, the kind you never forget. It was before the days of social media, so when she moved from Monterey to begin college in Santa Cruz, we stayed in touch by phone and letters. Soon after, I moved to San Diego, and after a road trip to visit her in 1995, I never knew that would be the last time I would see her. A number of phone and address changes later, we lost touch. As social media took off, I tried every year to find her. One morning, I awoke remembering her beautiful smile. I finally found her five long years too late. I have some beautiful black and white photos of her on her motorcycle, and one of us sitting on her porch with Matteus. Gosh, I miss those days, and I miss my friend. Rest with the Angels, Melinda. Thank you for coming to me in my dream so I could finally find you. I know you wanted me to know. Love you forever, girl!!!
