Nick, dear Nick...so much to say...so many memories. I'm sorry there a wasn't a service because I would have liked to have been there to share my memories. But I'll do it here if I can.
I met Nick over 30 years ago as a neighbor. I was a young mother of two, newly divorced who was devastated by this. Nick was a caring friend who came by to visit and offered help around the house. I could trust him, he was much like an Uncle to me. He and his wife, Margaret were such a cute couple. You could tell they loved one another so much. My deepest sympathy to Margaret, who I know must miss him so. They had many years together in marriage. Nick would walk his dog by my house (Tiger) so often. We were both Italian so we'd chat about life and relatives...all the ups and downs of it all. Nick planted a flowering tree for me one year. It's well over 25 years old. We cut it back once but it wouldn't die. It is flourishing now just as I imagine Nick is with his new heavenly body. I pray all is well with the family. I miss Nick very much even though we didn't visit much in the last several days because life gets the better of you and steals so much time. I am sorry for visits lost. I hope to hear from the family sometime. I considered Nick one of my dearest friends...a person I could count on...a person who was consistent...Nick, you are missed.
Love from Roseann
