Thank you for sharing how kind and loving she was. It gives me pause to remember how important it is to spread kindness and love. May her departure light a candle in our lifes, as we light one for her....

I met aunty Melody when I was four in america and from the slight memory she was lovely. I remember she gave me a set of Pjs with stars and bears on them.

My sympathy to her family's loss of Melody. I was glad that I did met her and her sister at Shirley's Memorial service. Both of sisters were very sweet. Bless her!

I am speechless. I cannot believe you are gone from this world. Growing up as your cousin I didn't get to know you very well because you were older and lived so far away, but I so enjoyed seeing you again and getting to know you better at our Grandparents' funerals in PA these last few years. You had an amazing spirit that was so positive and uplifting to anyone around you. I know your spirit lives on in the hearts of all those who knew you, even if they knew you just a little bit. My heart goes out to Kim and all your family that will miss you dearly. You were taken too soon.

Melody was a sweet, caring young woman who was always thoughtful and kind. She worked part time at my shop (The Wooden Heart) about 15 years ago and I always felt confident leaving her in charge. I still have a beautiful scarf that Melody gave me for Christmas one year - I will think of her fondly every time I wear it.

I am so sorry to read of Melody's passing. Our own granddaughter has been battling cancer for 18 months and so we have some sense about how you feel. Please know that the DesHetler/LeFrancois side of the family is praying for you and holding you up before God. Rev. Barry DeShetler
