Dear Judy and family,
Just wanted to express my deepest condolences to all of you in the passing of Lew. It was a privilege and blessing to know him as his part-time caregiver. It was a blessing and pleasure to take him places for a few hours every Monday afternoon for the time he was still able to be at home. He never lost his sense of humor and he amazed me at the things he noticed as we took walks and drives along the cliffs and Mall. I think he noticed every little child, and pet dog. I loved it that he always was anxious to get back to his "Judy". He also loved his ice cream treat, and his favorite was Rocky Road.
Even though my heart is sad for your loss, I'm relieved that he's not suffering anymore. You have all been in my thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Sue

Dear Judy and Family,
I have the pleasantest memories of my cousin Lewis and lovely Judy. You two were such wonderful family members for me to admire. Lewis was so full of energy and fun. My Dad Joe was so fond of him. I was fortunate to have such wonderful Aunts, Uncles, and cousins, to share my life and holidays and special events with, growing up.
It is so nice that you had 60 years of marriage.I miss my parents, Aunts and Uncles, and some cousins that have passed on. . . but they live in my heart and mind. I try to carry on some of the family dinners and traditions, and tell my children and grandchildren about the great time I had growing up in Long Beach, and how the Aunts and Uncles and cousins would come to visit us, have barbecues, and go to the beach and boardwalk. Everyone was always so nice to us. We were so lucky to have such a nice family to grow up with.
Love you Judy, and glad you have a nice big family to be comforted with. As for me, loosing George, I have my wonderful memories which really help a lot.
Love, Louise

I am saddened to here of Lew's passing. He was a good man, who made Capitola a brighter place with his volunteering spirit. He will be missed, and remembered fondly by many.
